Okay. I'm attempting to be back. No guarantees, but the rock I've been under for a while is starting to feel a little cramped. :P

I'll be catching up as well as I can. If there's anything important you think I should see that happened in the last two weeks, do point me in that direction.

Otherwise, I read the latest Harry Potter yesterday. Sobbed through half of it, just like I did for Books IV and V, so no surprise there.

Had lovely day with luvenditti on Saturday, contended with passive-aggressive parental units on Sunday (which, of course, was my fault, but no surprises there either) in between reading Harry Potter, volunteering at my club, and finishing my re-reading of Dune once I'd got HP out of my system (sort of).

joane, you going to be online tonight? I have a ton of catching up to do with you. :)

Okay, so I exaggerated a teensy bit. Sue me. Or rather, please don't. I'd hate to think of what fearsclave would charge if I engaged his services for a lawsuit. ;)

The intrepid fearsclave couldn't ask for a better, easier case. He'd probably take you pro bono. You're too sweet to sue, and I'm not that kind of villain. ; )

You know, the only problem with burning through these darned books is that for months you are afraid of saying something for fear of giving away something someone hasn't read yet!

By the way, while we are on the topic, I'm used to reading these books out loud to various family members. I read chapter one out loud, just for practice, even though I am the only one in the house now, just to keep in practice you understand. I have one question that arose from this: Just how DO you pronounce the name of the new Minister of Magic? That is one weird looking word! It drove me nuts trying to figure it out.
