I am watching the fourth season of Supernatural that arrived via Amazon today (yes, I caved and bought the DVDs). The fourth season is turning out pretty damned good, I must say. Better than I'd hoped for, which is nice.

So now I'm lying on the sofa with a fuzzy blanket and Gretzky and Pan-Pan lying on my legs. Smudge is on the back of the sofa, and George is on the prowl —alternately yowling at the window and coming over to demand cuddles.


Domestic bliss.

Unfortunately, Pan-Pan and Gretzky together weigh about 35lbs, which is totally cutting off the circulation to my legs.

Ahah! Can I borrow the DVDs? I had never heard of the show, but at the AAR two weekends ago the series was mentionned in two different sessions and by three different presenters, plus it came up in conversation at one of the GTs. I am now very curious...

Hazel describes it as "The Hardy Boys meet the X-Files", which is a pretty good way to introduce it to people. I think the secret is that it isn't *really* cheezy - they dodge a lot of cliches, and a lot of the episodes are pretty original. Not all, but a lot.
