*checks to see if Hell has frozen over*

This is a good news post, actually.

There was a kerfuffle I meant to post about, wherein the National Pork Board (in the US) threatened to sue an online breastfeeding activist due to the slogan on one of her t-shirts. The t-shirt read: "The Other White Milk."

However, the National Pork Board has in fact not only withdrawn their original suit, but they have gone out of their way to right the wrong they committed. I am impressed.

There is hope for Big Business after all. Kudos to the NPB for doing the right thing the right way.

Oh, agreed. The initial threat was practically suicide in terms of PR. However, they could have simply withdrawn the suit and offered a token apology. It's nice that they at least made an effort to apologize properly and to make a gesture of support in return.
