Cleaning Update #2

Admit it, you missed these. ;)

Okay, maybe not.

Anyway, the fridge is now clean! w00t! The kitchen is in a state where I might even contemplate cooking in it tonight. The other goal today is the litter boxes. The rest is not quite as much of an emergency, though it all needs to get done this week.

I am also pleased to inform you that yes, it is indeed possible to cut oneself on a refrigerator drawer. I am not sure how I managed, but there it is.

I have to go out and buy Vim and paper towels. I am nearly out of both, and both are pretty important if I want to get this place in decent shape by the end of the week.

What is Vim?

And trust me, you really can get by without paper towels, you just need some old ripped t-shirts or worn out dish towels. Still, if you can afford it, go with the paper, *laugh*.

Oh, yeah. I have cleaning cloths and old t-shirts and the like. For certain jobs, though, like when I have to thoroughly wash out the litter boxes, I really like the paper.

Vim is a cleaning product with the consistency of cream that can be used to scour surfaces instead of powders like Borax.

I'm quite fond of it. Maybe it's not available where you are?

I think that we have something like it, we call is "soft scrub". It is a more liquidy version of scrub powder that isn't supposed to scratch.

Go you!

I too, like Vim as a clearning product. I use it for all surfaces except glass (which gets glass cleaner and/or white vinegar) & the toilet bowl (which gets thick bleach).
