*whistles cheerfully*

Dude, there is a LOT of snow out there. Everything has slowed to a crawl. I was fifteen minutes late to work in spite of the bus being fifteen minutes late and the metro being significantly delayed. Go me!

Only L and the TMIM were here before me. People started trickling in around 9:30, and there's still a bunch of people MIA.

So there's about a foot or so of snow on the ground (and my feet are wet because they hadn't cleared off my street when I left for work around 7:45), and it is gorgeous out there. My main regret is that I already have two commitments tomorrow which mean that I won't get in any snowshoeing. *sigh*

I might go by myself on Sunday, maybe to Summit Circle, depending on a number of factors, mostly people-related. The parental units may want to see me, since I haven't seen them in about a week.

We're going to have a white Christmas! Woo!

I realise that not everyone is as excited about snow as I am. In fact, I'd probably be a heck of a lot more excited if I hadn't had to come into work today. I want to go outside and make snow angels. Instead I'm stuck in here with my reports. Bah.

It could be worse. Some people have been stuck in traffic for three hours.

Tonight I'm volunteering at the club, if I can get there in time, and then blissful bed shall be mine. :)

Today is a good day.

There's easily over a foot of snow here on the south shore. As in, cars are buried in the parking lot and only recognizable as mounds. O_o

Sounds about right. There was an itty bitty piece of my car visible this morning, so I have no doubt it's buried now.

People coming in from the South Shore have been stuck in traffic for about three hours now. I don't envy them in the slightest. You're working from home today, right?

Anyway, looks like things are cancelled for Sunday, so it'll be yet another raincheck.

I am. RW had to take the bus in - he got up at seven to leave and called me about 9.45 to tell me he was finally arriving. And he works at the central station so he's lucky since he doesn't have to go extra travel in the city. Geh.

Betweeb Xmas and New Year's? Or too busy during the holidays?

No, I have a day off on the 27th, so that could work. Otherwise it would have to be after New Year's.
