In less angsty news...

Hey, does anyone craft-oriented (i.e., arts and crafts, like knitting and such, not the other Craft) in Montreal know of a place where I can get yarn in safety orange?

Don't ask. ;)

In case no one finds anywhere local.

The mother of one of my classmates runs a knitting store, and I can order pretty much anything you like from her. Let me know!

Ooh, fun!

I want to knit a large blanket in safety orange. It's for a friend. If he reads this, he'll know who he is. ;)

If your friend's mother has a large quantity of, say, acrylic (I believe that's what it's called) yarn in that colour (otherwise known as traffic-cone orange), I'd love to get my hands on some. Hell, any kind of yarn as long as it doesn't cost the earth. :)

Would somewhere like Zellers have what you're looking for? They have some pretty hideous colours at the one in Alexis Nihon.

Hmm. I'll have to take a look. Zellers didn't occur to me. :)

Albeit it's not *quality* yarn, but I don't think that's what you're looking for here. And from what I can tell it's not expensive.

I'll take a peek for you if I'm down there this weekend.

Walmart certainly might as well. :)
