Baaaa...

I haven't done a meme in a while.

So... what song do you think best encapsulates me? Reciprocate in your own journals and all that. :)

Headstones - "Unsound."

I think of it as a song of defiance.

You'll have to play that for me at some point. I want to hear what it sounds like now that I've gone and looked up the lyrics.

Keen. It has pretty lyrics. I don't think I've ever heard the song, though.

Well, I would play, but I just started reading you. Give me awhile and ask again.

I once put up this "What Song Reminds You of Me" meme on my page and only [livejournal.com profile] prolixfootle and [livejournal.com profile] minstrel70 mustered up the imagination to play. Sheesh, even after I gave her about 20 of them, [livejournal.com profile] ingenuemuse wouldn't even venture a guess on something, and she likes most of the same stuff I do. Perhaps I'm not one of those people who are easily encapsulated. Don't feel too disapointed if not too many people play. Aparently, it takes a certain kind of mindset or insight to be able to describe people by which tunes remind you of them.

Fair enough. I don't know you well enough to play either. Not yet.

Also, I think a lot of people wouldn't play for fear of choosing a song the other person hates. ^_-

You know, I can understand that some people are like this, but I just don't understand why. I wouldn't think less of someone over something so trivial. In fact, I'd rather know just for the sake of knowing. For example, suppose someone thinks you remind them of Radiohead's "Creep". Well, wouldn't it be better to know that than not know it and have it be true anyway? Heh. In my worldview, deceptions and obfuscations are merely wastes of time. People worry too much about stepping on toes in some circumstances and entirely too little about it in others. It is a puzzlement.
