I'm hoping this is civilised enough...
Been giving this a lot of thought, and as horrible as it's going to sound I've come to the conclusion that, after all this time, I'm still not ready for any of this, and least of all a face-to-face meeting.
With that in mind, I'm afraid I'm going to have to cancel tomorrow's (today's?) meeting.
I will be emailing [mutual friend] to apprise him of this as well.
Take care,
Daphné

Yes, and I think it sounds polite, well-thought-of, and firm enough.
I wasn't commenting anything on your previous posts on this subject, basically because there were people who knew you better writing better comments than I could have. But I did read, and I agree with what everyone has said.

Polite, yet to the point. Of course, it would've made more of an impact with a few of those four letter words sprinkled through it, but nonetheless a job well done.
*takes off critic hat*
Now block his email address just in case he has another shot at you *squishie hugs*

*BIG HUGS*
(You do realize that he's most likely going to respond with crazy, right? Just figure out how to deflect it, if you can, so that it doesn't get crazy all over you.)

And too bad for him if he can't take it.
Nicer than I would have been
"Dear Poms,
I am so sorry, but upon agreeing to your request I was attacked with the most horrible of migraines I have had since working for that company that nearly sent me to the hospital. With that and still dealing with my most personal of issues that came about with our break-up, I am dear afraid I will not be able to meet you face to face. Please understand that this will be the last communication I will be able to have with you until my strength has come back and my doctors give me permission to speak with you again.
Good luck in your future endeavors,
Phnee"
Then block his emails.
Again, I am a bitch that way.
Re: Nicer than I would have been
Don't suppose its too late to put this, huh Phnee?
I promise
*curtsy*
I'd have been inclined...
You did the right thing.
Way Too Civilized...
Nevertheless, I am very proud that you are standing your ground and keeping him as far away as possible. (Would also suggest a warrant to keep him at least one continent away from you if possible...)
*Huggles
He lives!
*runs in terror from Undead!Victor* ˆ_-
Good to see you're back in the land of the communicating. :) How's you, sweetie?
