Have been remiss...

New people in my LJ, and I think I missed a birthday or three.

Here we go: a big welcome to [livejournal.com profile] sultrysong, [livejournal.com profile] takumashii, and [livejournal.com profile] x_mass! Welcome, although you clearly have no idea what you're in for. Spam, massive amounts of Angst and wibbling, followed by long periods of silence.

You've been warned. ;)

And happy birthday to [livejournal.com profile] twelveeyes! Whee!

Oh, for she's a jolly good fellow!
For she's a jolly good fellow!
For she's a jolly good fellow!
And so say all of us!

Hi. :)

Totally unrelated but .... I see that you're listening to Man of La Mancha. I've heard a bit about it and have been wondering if I should look into it. Is it enjoyable? It being don Quichotte, I can't help but think it's comedic. Is it?

Am I making any sense? Work put my brain in a blender and pushed purée, so I have NO idea.

Music rules!!!!

It's not bad at all, I must say. It has comedic elements, but there's a great deal of sympathy for the Don (which I understand is not really present in the book itself), and the pathos is quite poignant.

I'd recommend it for fun, light listening. :)

Mwah!
