Oh, the irony

I've been meaning to read this book on procrastination, but I haven't gotten around to it yet.

You mean the one that talks about how procrastinaters are the leaders of tomorrow? Yeah, I've got that one on my to read pile too.

Maybe, I haven't read it yet. ;)

But, are you procrastinating about reading it, or, more likely, busy, not procrastinating other stuff?

I hope that sentence makes sense.

I'm procrastinating. :)

I've been doing a lot of procrastinating about a lot of things lately. I'm going to try to break the habit, since it's ultimately pretty self-defeating. :P

Speaking of books, I picked up "His Majesty's Dragons" at your recommendation...

Other than not being very deep of scope (not enough character depth for me) I liked it...I always love reading about Dragons. I will likely get the rest of the series as it was nice light fodder before falling asleep.

Thanks :)

The characters gain in depth as the series progresses. I'm glad you liked it! :)

Also, I miss you. I think I need to send you another letter.

This reminds me...

A few months back, I was admitted to the Luxuriant Flowing Hair Club for Scientists. One of the perks of membership is that one gets a free issue of the Annals of Improbable Research. It was only about a week or so ago that I finally got around to going over the list of back issues to pick my freebie.

Naturally, after such a delay, I chose the issue containing an article on structured procrastination (it also contains the postal experiments, which are a good laugh too), and sent in an email indicating my preference. I have yet to hear back from LFHCfS/AIR, but I suspect that it's going to be a while before someone gets around to responding to me.
