I'm working the weekend of September 26th, which means that once again I am going to miss out on what promises to be a wonderful gathering of friends.

With the new schedule change, I'm going to be working more weekends after this, too.

*sigh*

I love my job, but the hours suck.

No, indeed! No staggering up a mountain and back down on no sleep, 8 hours of work and 2.5 hours of driving, either! Very shiny. :D

oh, honey, that sucks. I suspect you are way too good at what you do, and they don't want to ever let you go. Which is good for the ego, but hell on the social life :(

Yep. Love my job, and the new schedule will actually mean I get more days off, but fewer of those days off will be weekends. It's give and take.

I am trying very hard to see the silver lining, here. :P
