Okay, NOW I feel ill-used
There are three people here tonight.
The other two have BOTH been on private calls for the past *checks watch* 45 minutes. One is talking to her daughter in New Zealand. Fine. It's not so busy that we all have to be working our asses off. I'm dealing just fine.
But I ran into a snag with a call, and when I asked for help the woman heaved a sigh of exasperation and ROLLED HER EYES at me.
Come on! We're here to work! Forgive me if I dared to interrupt your personal call with an operational concern.
Christ.
Right now they can both bite me. I'm picking up ALL their slack, and not only am I not getting thanked, I'm getting eyerolls.

I'm annoyed. The only personal thing I ever do here is email and LJ (and only posting ever since the 'bots blocked my flist), and I always drop EVERYTHING when the phone rings.
Ergh. This is what I get for having a good work ethic.

He's now the only one on the team who is not authorized for overtime, and everyone knows why. I still wish they would have just fired him. Sigh.
You want some hot and sour sauce to go on those eyerolls?

Sorry. I kinda went off there. It just pisses me right off. Even when Richard was here, I hardly ever talked to him while I was at work and when I did, it was either when I was on break or it was a quick call from my console to tell him something important. I see no reason why these people need to be constantly connected to their SOs most of the shift and almost every day.
