Barack Obama's inauguration is in a scant few hours.

I'm oddly excited, for someone who doesn't even live in the U.S.

Whatever your politics, today is a moment of incredible significance. We are living history, people.

I thought of you while I was watching the inauguration when President Obama rode by the Canadian Embassy and I saw all the Mounties on the steps in formation. You Canadians are very classy. :)
