A few pictures after all

Just to whet your appetite, I have selected a few of the pictures I have managed to upload and re-size. Again, I am teh Amateur when it comes to this sort of stuff: point-and-click par excellence, so please don't expect works of art out of me. Y'all have been spoiled rotten by all the fantastic photographers on my flist, I know it.

This was the view about a block and a half away from where I was living:

Did I mention the award-winning bakery/pastry shop right next door?

Up the street and to the left, there was the Musée d'Orsay. This is a representation of America, which I thought was appropriate enough, given my origins. All seven continents were represented, of course.

This one is for [livejournal.com profile] bodhifox. This is Iris, my tour guide from last Tuesday. Doesn't she look darling?

Whee! and Yahoo! Thanks Phnee!

That first picture looks so foreign. I've never seen any place quite like that. 'course I've only been over most of the U.S. and some of Canadia.

There is nothing wrong with your photography skills. And yes, my heart did a little ah-Paris jump when I saw these.

Lovely! You're selling your photography skills short. Also I want one of those croissants right now. the toast boiled eggs and muffins they have as the continental breakfast here just aren't quite up to snuff :/

Oh well. There goes my virtual diet!

Iris looks a little like our toughlovemuse, n'est pas?

Nice pics!
