To be honest? No idea.

It might have been some sort of indigestion or something. He was just very sluggish, limping and crying in pain when I touched him.

Once I took him there, I dished out the price of admission, then I remember an additional 200 for some test or other...then I remember the lady coming out and asking to run a few more tests that would total up to an additional 500 dollars which I did not have, while threatening dire consequences if she did not run them (he may not live through the night if you take him home...that sort of thing).

I remember being at an impasse, her saying he "could" likely die if I didn't pony up for the tests so they could find out what exactly was wrong with him...me saying I was now out of money and unable to come to an arrangement...them saying again, he could die if I took him home...me saying that as much as I hated that fact they still would not budge on the whole "money" aspect (they seemed to think that if they got scary enough I could somehow come up with the cash).

I ended up taking him home...watching him carefully all night. By next morning he was fine and he's been quite normal and happy ever since.
