"shedule" is how the British pronounce it, it's how I pronounce it. Other British/American differences include pronunciations of research (REEsearch versus reSEARCH), vitamin, tomato, aluminium, ...

Yeah, I know, and it's an accepted pronunciation, and it drives me 'round the bend. Dunno why. I was also told that the pronunciation difference in sixth (sickth vs. sicksth)was a British/North American difference.
