I really enjoyed the first book in the "Shadow & Bone" series and am not sure why I never read the others. I think it was because I was working at the bookstore at the time and was overwhelmed by all the new stuff and advance reading copies.
It's pretty much a standard YA fantasy premise but with some fun world-building and folklore elements. I'm kind of loving the fact that there's so many diverse YA books out there now, especially in the fantasy genre which is my favorite.

Ugh, still no vax in sight?? :( I don't think it's melodramatic at all, I'd be pissed!
