Moving IS a huge, expensive hassle, I agree. I am determined to have the next time I move be the last in many, many years. Like, decades.

I'm trying to find a unicorn of a house: smallish but with a large kitchen and a mud room, far enough in the country so I can have chickens, with a bit of land (even 1/2 an acre would be nice), and that I can afford.
