I watched the first three episodes of The Handmaid's Tale all in a row, and I cried during every. single. one. of. them.
It's very well done, but *man*, is it emotionally draining.

And I really really want to watch Sense8, but some of my Italian friends who watched it mentioned something about someone going: "I'm Neapolitan." "So Italian?" "No, Neapolitan." and ugh.
It makes my blood boil when people from the US say/make characters say this sort of things, thinking it's ~progressive to say that, idk, Sicilians/Campani/Calabresi general people from the South of Italy are Not Italian™, when it's actually a MAJOR party line from the Italian extreme right to try and alienate people from the South and/or try to pit people from the North against us by accusing us of being ignorant, thieving vermin who have never worked a day in our lives and, I quote, "should go back to Africa."
Basically: I really liked the show so far, but I'm really not in a mood to get angry at it or at the tumblr fans who already pester Italians because They Know Better (I seriously had someone tell me, someone who was born and raised in Italy, that they knew more about Italy than I do, because *they took a course about it in college*. UGH.), so hm. Probably gonna wait a little /o\

(Whoops, sorry for the rant /o\)
