That is horrible. Simply horrible. I'm so sorry for your loss.

My cat was killed by a car too when she was only 6 years old, but I'm forever thankful that I didn't see it happen myself. It was bad enough when we got the collar back from the vet (someone else had brought her in) and I could see how it was all scratched up from the road. So, I know a little of what you are going through, but definitely not all of it - I'm glad you have people around to support and help.
