Solution to the LJ change from angelita26: Go to your Friends page. In the upper right corner, there's a link labeled 'Post in blog' and to the right of that an envelope icon. In between them, there's some blank space. Click in that blank space and you'll get a little pop-up where you can click to switch back to the old version.
