Just finished True Detective like maybe fifteen minutes ago. You may benefit from rewatching. We watched them two at a time (more than that at a go would have been too much, and I feel the same way about Hannibal) over the last few days, so it's possible we were able to retain the thread a little more easily, without the detriments of having to wait between episodes and being able to watch a couple at a time. The finale, we thought, was pretty amazing. The dude was inconsolable at the end, we just sat together and I let him cry on me for like ten minutes. Now he's on the phone with his friend chatting about it. It affected him profoundly. I, on the other hand, am medicated right now and while I teared up, I wasn't as affected. I def recommend giving it a rewatch.

We need to catch up on Hannibal. I can't wait to see how it gets to where it's going to go.
