Whoops! Wrong LJ account. ;)
Trying again, logged in with the right name this time.
I hear you. I've managed to turn off about 90% of the notifications, so that makes me happy.
Be warned, Capricornucopia is at a new and exciting time! 2pm, so those of us with kids can all attend. :)
