Man, I am sorry to hear that. Gretzky was very sick, but she always has the same sort of thing, which the vets can easily treat (upper respiratory infections, easily dealt with thanks to antibiotics). I do understand the anguish of looking at huge vet bills and having to make that sort of decision, though.

I do know that right now, if Gretzky did end up having a serious condition, she's so very elderly that I wouldn't want to put her through a series of treatments that might or might not work. I think, in Gretzky's case specifically, it would cause her more distress than good.

New Brunswick is really pretty! Especially the Fundy Bay area. :)

Also, you and jteethy are at the top of the list for invitations to Capricornucopia this year, I hope you know. I still feel terrible about that accidental omission from last year's emailing list. :(
