No cleaning lady
It's 09:30 and she's not here. She's always super-punctual, so I guess she'll be coming next week. I'll call on Monday to make sure.
In the meantime, though, I have done a clean-up in the kitchen (ongoing), hung up one load of laundry to dry and shoved another load into the machine. I am tired (was awake at 05:30 this morning in spite of my best efforts), but feeling quite good about the place. I am still surprised and gratified at how quickly I can get it into a semblance of order that's good enough to have company over.
Next on the list is to change the sheets on the bed (overdue), and go out for last-minute groceries. My IGA is open until 18:00 today, so I'll probably just swing by on my way to work, store my stuff in the fridge at work until it's time to leave, and voilà! I should make a list so I don't forget stuff. I've been grocery shopping twice this week and have forgotten stuff both times. It's like having a sieve instead of a brain, I swear.
I will also stop spamming your friends' pages now. :)
I may have a nap, too. I won't get to go to bed early tonight the way I have for the past few days. Working until 22:30 will do that to you.
