7 active networks is a fair bit...but not unmanageable. It might really be only a channel issue (Interference).
In your router documentation there should be instructions on where to change the channel. It's USUALLY not very complicated...basically surf the admin webpage for your router, find the setting, change it and let it cycle itself.
