I take the bike paths, not the road. I cycle down Hamilton to Agrignon park, then cross LaVerendrye onto the Viaduct bike path, follow that as far as possible, which is currently the Lakeshore Hospital, due to some construction blocking the bike path. I'm on the road again for about 3 blocks to get around the construction around the hospital, down to Lakeshore blvd. Then back on the Lakeshore bikepath to 90th ave. Then three blocks up 90th to Red Cross.

It's a 45 minute ride for me, and I'm in pretty good shape due to the fact that I've been running. It's a really nice ride, but give yourself an hour. There are a couple of gentle hills that you'll need a low gear for, but that's it.
