Still alive

Seeing my old school friend on Tuesday depressed the hell out of me. I can't stick my hand in this crazy, it's way too big for me, but it's still not fun watching someone with whom you used to be best friends in the process of completely self-destructing.

Spent the day with toughlovemuse yesterday, and can I say? It's WONDERFUL to have well-adjusted friends. Seriously. I'd forgotten just how f*cked up my friends from high school have become, in some cases.

Got some writing done, and I can't believe November is nearly over. I keep thinking it's about halfway done, but it's not. This is both a good and a bad thing.

Am off to spend the day outside the apartment.
